People need not smoke and drink or have drugs to develop the deadly diseases.

It’s provided in the form of carcinogenic materials and compounds in the form of adulterations…

Daily needs such as edible oil, rice, wheat, turmeric and dhals are being targeted.

One such adulterated food is turmeric and lentils/Dhal.

If you buy dhals especially tuvar dhal and turmeric which are yellow or strong yellow in color…There are high chances of it being an adulterated one..

The culprit is Metanil Yellow.

Metanil yellow is the principal non-permitted food colour used extensively in India.

The effect of long-term consumption of metanil yellow on the developing and adult brain causes neurotoxicity. Neurotoxicity occurs when the exposure to natural or artificial toxic substances, alters the normal activity of the nervous system in such a way as to cause damage to the nervous tissue.

Metanil yellow is used in dhal as an adulterant for colouring.


Next time buy natural farming or organic grown hand pounded Dhal or Lentils with skin and Turmeric

*Does it take long time to cook?*
Soak Unpolished (or) with skin Dhal extra 30 mins before cooking.

*Is it easy to digest Unpolished Dhal?*
All natural or organic grown Dhals are easy to digest. That is the original taste and clean food.

*How should I cook dhals?*
Use organic clay pots or earthen cookware to cook dhal to get rustic taste. Try once in week or month to cook Dhal, rice, curries earthen utensils

*I don’t have time to soak what I should do?*
While cooking in pressure cooker Boil with extra vissels.

*How does it taste after cooking?*
Believe me you enjoy taste and energy after eating.

Moong dhal
Tuvar Dhal
Urad dhal
Chana dhal (less used with skin)
Phutana dhal
Masoor dhal
